Mexico is the 14th largest country in the area in the world, has 10,000 kilometres/6000 miles of coastline and is ethnically made up of a mixture of Spanish and Indigenous peoples. Historically, it has grown from a melting pot of 300 years of many cultures including the Spanish Conquistadores and the advanced civilizations of the Mayan and Aztec Indians.
